What a wonder period of your life this is. Just the more reason to take good care of yourself and your unborn child. Pregnancy – however wonderful it can be – also poses for some physical discomfort. By following our Pregnancy Yoga classes you can prevent lower back pain, strengthen your pelvic area and prevent pain in legs.
The benefits of Pregnancy Yoga
Pregnancy Yoga is given by Assal, a very experienced Pregnancy yoga teacher. She will help you physically and mentally in this period of your life. In the class attention will be focused on:
- Dynamic yoga exercises
- Exercises to increase your body awareness.
- Exercises that are focused specially on pregnancy ailments as cramps, retaining fluids, pain in the ligaments, contractions in abdomen, back pain, high bloodpressure and problems sleeping.
- Exercises to strengthen the bond with your child
- Posture while sitting, lying down, standing and various poses for giving birth.
- Breathing exercises
- Active and passive relaxtion exercises
- Specific exercises for the delivery.
- Exchanging experiences with others – you are not alone!
When are the lessons sceduled?
- Wednesday evenings from 19:00-20:15hrs
- Friday mornings from 9:00-10:00hrs

You can join at any given moment. IF you are a member of Westvliet you can join for FREE and during the months that you can’t manage to come you can freeze your membership at no extra costs. When you freeze your account you don’t pay membership fees.
